  3. Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge (Adolphus Frederick; 24 February 1774 – 8 July 1850) was the tenth child and seventh son of King George III of the United Kingdom and Queen Charlotte. He held the title of Duke of Cambridge from 1801 until his death.

  4. Adolphus Friedrich IV was ruler of the duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, succeeding his uncle Duke Adolphus Frederick III in 1752. He was the brother to Queen Charlotte. In 1753 he studied at the University of Greifswald and in 1764 became a member of the Order of the Garter.
