Mehtab Kaur (née Mohinder Kaur; 14 September 1922 – 24 July 2017) was the second wife of the ninth and the last ruling Maharaja of Patiala Yadavindra Singh (1913–1974). She was the mother of Amarinder Singh, the former Chief Minister of Punjab.
Born in September 1922 in Ludhiana and given the maiden name Mehtab Kaur, she married the then Maharaja Yadavindra Singh in 1938, and had four children — two daughters and two sons.
Mehtab Kaur was the only daughter of Sada Kaur and Gurbaksh Singh Kanhaiya. Her father was the first commander or sardar of Khalsa army to protect Punjab. She was betrothed to a six-year-old Ranjit Singh at the age of four.

Mehtab Kaur (c. 1782-1813) was the first wife of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the founder of the Sikh Empire. She held the title of Maharani, or high queen, whilst alive. Mehtab and Ranjit were married in 1796, and her influential mother, Sada Kaur, was heavily involved in alliances and providing advice to the new rulers.
