According to the Gospel of John, Mary of Clopas ( Ancient Greek: Μαρία ἡ τοῦ Κλωπᾶ, María hē tou Clōpá) was one of the women present at the crucifixion of Jesus and bringing supplies for his funeral.
At the death of Jesus, we are told that Mary wife of Cleophas/Clopas (Jn 19:25) was present. She was described as the mother of James and Joseph (Mt 27:56) in one account, and mother of James the Less and Joses in another (Mk 15:40).

Clopas could be a brother of Mary, the mother of Jesus. It is more likely, however, that John intends to identify four separate women at the cross. Matthew and Mark both mention a “Mary the mother of James and Joseph” among the women who were at the cross ( Matt 27:56 ; Mark 15:40 ).
