Brijendrapal Singh, better known as B. P. Singh is an Indian television producer born in Dehradun, India. He is the creator and director-producer of the Indian TV series CID (1998 – 2018), one of the longest-running TV series in India, which started the CID Gallantry Awards in 2010.
B.P. Singh served as Executive Director and Ambassador at the World Bank during 1999-2002 representing India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and was one of the founder members of the Development Gateway Foundation (DGF) and member, Global Environment Facility (GEF), Washington D.C.
B.P. Singh is a prolific producer, director and writer of popular Indian TV shows such as C.I.D., Aahat and Supercops V/S Supervillains. He was born in India and is married to Renu Brijendra Singh.
