Jose E. Romero. Senator Jose Romero was born in Bais, Oriental Negros on March 3, 1897 to Francisco Romero and Josefa Muñoz. He was educated in the public school of Tanjay and obtained his Associates of Arts degree in 1917.
José E. Romero was a politician in the Philippines. From 1931, he served as a member of the Senate of the Philippines for the second district of Negros Oriental. When the National Assembly of the Philippines effectively replaced the Senate in 1935, he continued as an Assemblyman until 1941.
