Navjot Singh Sidhu (born 20 October 1963) is an Indian politician from the Indian National Congress, television personality and retired international cricketer. He is the former President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
Navjot Sidhu was a right-handed opening batter who played 51 Tests and 136 ODIs for India from 1983 to 1999. He was known for his dogged defence and aggressive strokeplay, especially against spin bowling, and later became a commentator.
