The Hollow is the fourth episode of series nine of Agatha Christie's Poirot, broadcast on 26 April 2004. The feature-length episode is an adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. It was directed by Simon Langton and the script was written by Nick Dear.
While spending the weekend at his cottage outside London, Hercule Poirot is invited to dinner by Sir Henry and Lady Angkatell. Leaving immediately after dinner, he returns the next day to find that a weekend guest, John Christo, has been shot dead.
The famed sleuth (David Suchet) learns that all is not as it seems when a party guest is found holding a gun over her husband's body.
