“The Outlaws” is a 2017 South Korean film directed by Kang Yoon Sung. The film is based on real events that occurred in 2007 that has been dubbed the “Heuksapa Incident” where a local gang engaged in a turf battle with the Heuksapa Chinese gang from Yanbian, China.
Dennis Harvey Variety "The Outlaws" is a very entertaining if not quite first-rank genre exercise that reps an auspicious bow for first-time feature director Kang Yoon-Seong.
