After losing the big game (the English title of the film is misleading) all the Sammi Superstars exit the dugout, leaving Sa-yong by himself. The OB bears make their exit off the field as well, huddled around and congratulating record-breaking pitcher Park Chul-soo.
Gam Sa-Yong (Lee Beom-Su is able to join the team just because the Sammi Superstars don’t have any left-hander pitcher. Unlike its name, Superstars, Sammi is the last place team in the league. Sa-Yong never becomes an ace, but throws as a mop-up relief pitcher in losing games. Nobody would expect him to win a game.
