The town of Lake Placid was very nice - the main street lined with many shops and restaurants. Mirror lake was beautiful. Plenty of scenic spots to relax and enjoy. Never could access Lake Placid itself. So I have no idea what it looks like, They need to put some access points in to see the Lake.

There's so much to do, be it a summertime day hike to an open summit, a relaxing fall paddle on Mirror Lake , a wintery snowshoe around John Brown Farm State Historic Site , or a spring indoor-fun trip.
