Eva and Ruda tells the story of two singular characters, born in Prague at the dawn of the twentieth century who realize, in spite of themselves, that they are Jews. What was previously a question of mere social convention suddenly becomes a matter of life and death.
Est-ce qu’un homme l’avait déjà protégée, elle ? Qui sont ces gens qui s’aiment et qui ont pour nom Eva et Ruda ? Entre documentaire et autofiction, ce film nous amène de Prague à Venise, en passant par Terezin, Auschwitz, Vienne, New-York et Montréal.

Feb 6, 2016 · Eva, Ruda, Léo et moi s’inspire du livre Eva et Ruda, paru aux éditions du passage en 2010. C’est d’ailleurs au lancement du bouquin que Jo Légaré a rencontré le couple.
