Spoiler Warning: (機動戦士ガンダムSEED FREEDOM, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom?) is a Japanese animated film released on January 26, 2024. The film is the fourth animated installment of the SEED series, and a sequel to the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

In order to calm the situation, a global peace monitoring agency called COMPASS is established, with Lacus as its first president. As members of COMPASS, Kira and his comrades intervene in various regional battles. Then a newly established nation called Foundation proposes a joint operation against a Blue Cosmos stronghold .

Two years later, in an interview published in the April 2008 issue of Animage, screen-writer Chiaki Morosawa said the plot had been done for some time now but that following the end of SEED Destiny, she fell ill, underwent examinations, and went to the hospital for treatment. Apologizing more than once, she stated the delay was simply due to that and though there wasn't a plan in place, she had no lack of energy, so she asked fans to please wait a little longer.
In 2016, Chiaki Morosawa passed away due to Aortic Dissection, since her death, production of the movie began.
In 2021, the movie was transferred to Mobile Suit Gundam SEED PROJECT ignited.

•To Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny: •Ever since the fall of Logos and the death of Lord Djibril, Blue Cosmos continues to fight (under Michael's command) despite their financial struggle after their ties with the Atlantic Federation was severed. •Both Agnes and Shura refer to Shinn as the "Freedom Killer". •When discussed about Kira's way of fighting alone, Shinn recalls that he was told to fight together. •As Orb's military was ordered to shoot down the escaping Millennium, the crewmate told that he was taught how to miss their shots like Todaka did. •Despite her passing on, Stella's spirit still remains inside Shinn after a year.
