Phata Poster Nikhla Hero movie is a full fledged masala entertainer with elements of romance and action. The film follows the story of Vishwas Rao, an aspiring actor mistaken as a super cop.
Synopsis. Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is raised by his mother (Padmini Kolhapure), who hopes that her son will grow up to be a Police Inspector. Vishwas though, wants to become a film hero. To avoid being drafted into police academy, Vishwas deliberately flunks his exams year after year.
