When the sheriff attaches Yance's herd for payment of the bank debt, Konga gallops away into the hills. Meanwhile, Hadley, tiring of the raids on his fields, rounds up the wild horses and traps Konga. When Yance hears of it, he rushes to Hadley's farm, where he learns that Konga has been shot.
