Summaries. A detective and a businessman search for a serial killer who removes people's organs. Raita, a Japanese businessman, just moved into an apartment building where his next-door neighbor is another guy named Raita. But as a private detective, what that other Raita does couldn't be more different from a humble businessman's way of life.
In the case of Detective Story, an easy-going, jokey private eye named Kazama teams up with reluctant neighbor and “super hacker” Takashima in order to investigate a series of murders. They fit together oddly as partners and their differences are mined for affable comedy.
