Puss in Boots is a 2011 American animated adventure comedy film [4] [5] produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is a spin-off of the Shrek film series and its fifth installment, rather than an adaptation of the fairytale "Puss in Boots".
- Shrek 2. Even though Shrek 2 is not the first movie in the series, it marks the first time Puss in Boots appeared on the theater screens and started its own stories.
- Shrek the Third. In this installment, Fiona’s father, the king, dies, so Shrek, Donkey, and Puss In Boots sail away to find Artie, Fiona’s cousin, who is supposed to be an heir to the throne since Shrek did not accept the title of king.
- Shrek Forever After. In Shrek Forever After, Shrek makes a deal that sends him to an alternate reality where he did not marry Fiona and did not meet Donkey.
- Puss in Boots. The first Shrek spin-off is the Puss in Boots movie. It is a prequel to the Shrek franchise and tells the story of how Puss In Boots became who he is.
