Lokesh Kanagaraj (/ l oʊ k eɪ ʃ k ə n ə ɡ ə r ɑː dʒ /; born 14 March 1986) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works in Tamil films. He started his career with a short film in the 2016 anthology Aviyal. He later directed his first feature film Maanagaram (2017).
Lokesh Kanagaraj is a rising star in the Tamil film industry, known for his action-packed and realistic films like Kaithi, Master and Vikram. He was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and started his career with the anthology film Aviyal in 2016.
