  6. Chulalongkorn University was later established by merging the Civil Service School and the Medical School, and Yantara Suksa School became the Faculty of Engineering. The faculty originally provided three-year education in engineering, which led to Diplomas in Engineering.

  7. On 26 March 1917, the college was upgraded to "Chulalongkorn University" (Thai: จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย), and the schools were transformed into four faculties: Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Public Administration, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Medicine.
