St Berchmans College is the first higher education institution of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry. This institution was founded in 1922 by Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry, Bishop of Changanassery diocese.
St. Berchmans College Kottayam, Kerala is also known as S.B. college, is an autonomous Christian college that was established in 1922. The college offers UG and PG programs like BA, B.Sc, B.voc, B.com, BCA, MA, M.Sc, M.com, and MBA.
St Berchmans College is a higher education institution under the Archeparchy of Changanacherry. The College was founded in 1922 by Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry, Bishop of Changanassery diocese. The College was first accredited with ‘Five Star’ in 1999 and reaccredited with ‘A+’ in 2006.
PROGRAMMES& SYLLABUS. Consistent with the high standard of excellence aimed at by the institution, it has got a team of highly experienced, well qualified and dedicated faculty members in all disciplines.
Following the High Court Order, the college introduced the Parliamentary system of elections; Sri Padmanabha Dasa, His Highness Marthanda Varma Uthradam Thirunal presented the “St Berchmans’ Award” for the best teacher in affiliated colleges.
