Laurin & Klement was a Czech automobile, motorcycle and bicycle manufacturing company founded in 1895 in Mladá Boleslav, Kingdom of Bohemia by automotive pioneers Václav Laurin and Václav Klement. Car production commenced in 1905, and the company soon became the largest car manufacturer in Austria-Hungary.

Václav Laurin did his apprenticeship as a machine fitter. Even afterwards he continued to educate himself and searched for new challenges – this is how he learned to operate steam engines. Laurin settled down in Mladá Boleslav, where he established a bicycle factory with Václav Klement.
The Škoda Enyaq L&K marks the debut of a new battery and drive package. It offers an increased output of 285 PS (210 kW), better acceleration and a longer range. The rear-wheel-drive Enyaq L&K 85 goes from 0 to 62 mph in 6.7 seconds, which is almost two seconds faster than the previous rear-wheel-drive Enyaq 80.
