Larry Myricks (born 10 March 1956) is an American former track and field athlete, who mainly competed in the long jump event. He is a two-time winner of the World Indoor Championships (1987, 1989) and a two-time winner of the World Cup (1979, 1989).
His long jump duels with Carl Lewis became legendary and Larry Myricks will be remembered as one of the greatest jumpers in U.S. track and field history.

Jun 10, 2024 · EUGENE, Ore. — Gulf South Conference and Mississippi College legend Larry Myricks was inducted into the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) Collegiate Hall of Fame. Myricks was one of 14 honorees enshined as part of the Class of 2024.
