Imre Schlosser (also known as Imre Lakatos; 11 October 1889 – 18 July 1959) was a Hungarian footballer of Danube Swabian ancestry who played as a forward. He still holds the record as the highest goalscorer in the history of the Hungarian National Championship.

Imre Schlosser was one of the greatest footballers of his era, the first European star of Hungarian football. He was 13 times a Hungarian champion and 7-times the leading league scorer, both of which are Hungarian records (through 2019).
Imre Schlosser was a footballer who represented the Hungary national football team as a striker between 1906 and 1921, and again in 1926 and 1927. He scored his first international goal on 4 November 1906, aged 17 years and 24 days, in a 3–1 win over Austria. [1]
