Serge Aubrey Savard OC CQ (born January 22, 1946) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman, most famously with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously served as Senior Vice President, Hockey Operations, and as general manager of the Montreal Canadiens.
Serge Savard was a Hall of Fame defenseman who played 1040 games for the Montreal Canadiens from 1966 to 1983. He won seven Stanley Cups, one Smythe Trophy, one Masterton Trophy and was a six-time All-Star.
