Erland Josephson (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈæ̌ːɭand ˈjûːsɛfˌsɔn]; 15 June 1923 – 25 February 2012) was a Swedish actor and author. He was best known by international audiences for his work in films directed by Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky and Theodoros Angelopoulos.
Erland Josephson (1923-2012) was a distinguished Swedish actor and writer, best known for his collaborations with Ingmar Bergman. He appeared in many Bergman films, as well as in international cinema and theater, and co-wrote and directed several films.
