Parno Mitra (born 31 October 1986) [1] is an Indian actress who appears in Bengali films. Mitra started her career on television. Her acting assignment was Ravi Ojha's Bengali TV series Khela (2007). [1] . She was catapulted to stardom after she enacted Ranjana in Anjan Dutta's National Award winning Bengali film Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona (2011).
Parno Mittra started her acting career in 2011. She was born in Kolkata and brought up in Arunachal Pradesh. Her debut movie ‘Ranjana Ami Aar Ashbona’ film received 3 National Awards for the Best Bengali Film, Special Jury Award and for the Best Music. She won the best actress award for the movie ‘Mohona’.
