Laya (born 21 October 1981) is a former Indian actress and Kuchipudi dancer known for her work primarily in Telugu films alongside a few Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. Laya first appeared as a child actor in Bhadram Koduko (1992) and later she started working as a lead actress with Swayamvaram (1999).
Laya is an organization that works with adivasi communities to safeguard their rights, health, resources and livelihoods. It also engages in policy advocacy and climate justice at national and international levels.

LAYA is a non-profit organization that promotes decentralized and sustainable technologies to improve access to water, energy and food for Adivasi communities in Andhra Pradesh. It also conducts climate change awareness and education programs in Ashram schools and other groups.
