Jonathan Wise - Research. The main topics of my research are logarithmic geometry, deformation theory, moduli of curves, and Gromov-Witten theory. Below are brief descriptions of some of my papers. The list of my papers on the arXiv may be more current than the list below.

Dr. Wise studies moduli spaces using tools from logarithmic geometry, tropical geometry, and deformation theory. He is particularly interested in the moduli spaces of curves and related moduli spaces, such as the universal Picard group, and their compactifications.
