After stock experience in New England and a starring role in a Broadway flop, American actor John Kellogg was selected to play the lead in the road company of the long-running service comedy Brother Rat. He continued working steadily on stage until interrupted by World War II service.
Biography. American actor born Giles Vernon Kellogg Jr. in Hollywood, California on 3 June, 1916. His notable film roles include A Walk in the Sun (1945), Twelve O'clock High (1949), and The Greatest Show on Earth (1952). He died on 22 February, 2000 in Los Angeles, at age 83.
