    Bob Minor (born 1 January 1944; age 80) is a retired stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who played Bo'rak in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine third season episode "Visionary" and worked as stunt double for Michael Dorn during the fight scene with Tom Morga in the fifth season episode "Soldiers of the Empire". He received no credit for this latter appearance.

    Minor holds the honor of being the first African-American member of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures in 1972. The same year he was also the first African-American action director, acquiring his DGA membership. The former champion bodybuilder and Mr. Los Angeles Bodybuilding title holder became second vice-president of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures in 1978. During his active years, Minor has doubled for actors such as Sidney Poitier, Fred Williamson, Bernie Mac, Jim Brown, Roger E. Mosley, and Carl Weathers.

    Minor was married to fellow stuntwoman Rita Minor until they divorced and they have two children, son Royce Lee Minor born in 1981 and daughter Rashaé Minor. In 2010 he remarried, this time to Yolanda Minor.

    Minor began both his stunt and acting careers in blaxploitation films of the early 1970s. He performed stunts for such films as The Legend of N*gger Charley (1970), Blacula (1972, starring William Marshall in the title role), and Black Caesar (1972) before becoming a stunt coordinator and making his acting debut in 1970's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Black Snake in 1972. He then appeared in and was stunt coordinator for Coffy (1973, co-starring Booker Bradshaw, Robert DoQui and Sid Haig) and Foxy Brown (1974, also with Sid Haig).

    He went on to perform stunts on such films as Rollerball (1975), Black Sunday (1977), MacArthur, Smokey and the Bandit II (1980), Samurai (1979; with Michael Pataki, Don Keefer, Walt Davis, Johnny Haymer, Tom Lupo, and Greg Barnett), Escape from New York, The Beastmaster (1982), Ghostbusters II (1989), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), Conspiracy Theory (1997), Ocean's Eleven (2001), The Italian Job (2003), and National Treasure (2004), and was a stunt coordinator for Glory (1989, for which Minor hired 72 stunt performers), Boyz n the Hood' (1991),Poetic Justice, Set It Off, and Baby Boy, among others. He also performed stunts on the television shows Starsky & Hutch (starring David Soul, and making an appearance in an episode with Gary Lockwood) and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and was stunt coordinator on Magnum, P.I. from 1982 through 1988. Some films he appeared in but did not perform stunts for include Norma Rae, Rocky III (1982), Commando (1985), and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994).

    In 2016, Minor worked as stunt coordinator on the science fiction thriller 90 Minutes of the Fever on which he worked with James Black. He had supporting roles in episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2016, with Joel McKinnon Miller and Kevin Derr) and Mom (2018, with Sandra Gimpel) and portrayed Uncle Jessup in the short action film Ellen Bond Secret Agent (2018, with Mark Casimir Dyniewicz). He was also interviewed for the television documentary Hollywood Action Masters (2019, with LaFaye Baker) and the documentary iCONversation (2021).
