Allan Lane, the voice of Mister Ed the talking horse, was a resident of the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital, where he died a few short weeks after admission. Ironically, Alan Young, the actor who played Wilbur, also became a resident and died while in residence in May 2016.
