Haradhan Bandopadhyay (6 November 1926 – 5 January 2013) was a Bengali Indian actor of television and films. He made his debut in the 1948 Bengali film Devdut, directed by Atanu Bandopadhyay. He worked with some of the most prominent directors of Bengali cinema, like Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen. [1] Early life.

At 87 He was younger than me at heart," 'Barfi!' director Anurag Basu posted on Twitter. Haradhan had also worked in Pradeep Sarkar's 'Parineeta'.

May 29, 2013 · I am missing Dadu (Haradhan Banerjee) a lot who passed away in January this year. He played a pivotal role in the film. He was really fond of me and we had a lot of fun on the sets.
Story. The Sanyals are a large extended family composed of the nonagenarian grandfather (Haradhan Banerjee), his son (Ranjit Mallick), daughter-in-law (Laboni Sarkar) and their children of whom two, a daughter (Koel Mallick) and a son (Rishi Kaushik), live together in a mansion in Bhawanipur.
