Sakata Tōjūrō IV (四代目坂田藤十郎, Yondaime Sakata Tōjūrō, born Hirotarō Hayashi (林 宏太郎, Hayashi Hirotarō), 31 December 1931 – 12 November 2020) was a Japanese kabuki actor in the Kamigata style and was officially designated a Living National Treasure.
Sakata Tōjūrō (坂田藤十郎) refers to a family of kabuki actors in Kyoto and Osaka and it is the stage name of a series of Kabuki actors over the course of the history of the form. The first Sakata Tōjūrō (1646–1709) was the most popular kabuki actor in Kyoto-Osaka during the Genroku era. He played tachiyaku roles.
