Alan Bridges (28 September 1927 – 7 December 2013) was an English film and television director. In 1967 Bridges directed a television adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations starring Gary Bond as Pip. He won the Grand Prix at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival for his film The Hireling.

A British director whose career began at the BBC with You Can’t Win (1961), Bridges went on to direct series including Great Expectations (1967), Les Miserables (1967), The Wednesday Play (1968-1970) and Play For Today (1970-1981), for which he won a Best Drama Production BAFTA.
