Sep 30, 2020 · As many of you no doubt know by now, Peter Rosen (Figure 1) passed away at his home in Tucson late last year. I was on a plane returning from a trip to India and the Asian Congress in Emergency Medicine when he passed.
Rosen, who died November 11, 2019, in Tucson, AZ, from complications of long-standing cardiac and renal disease, had come to see emergency medicine in a new and profoundly different way. “He had vision,” observed Meislin, who is now a professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine.
