Track 02 Originally written around 1984 - 1985; re-recorded in 1989 during the "Trouble Walkin'" sessions, with guest appearances by Peter Criss (background vocals) and Skid Row's Sebastian Bach and Dave "the Snake" Sabo (backgroundvocals).
Ace Frehley is the first solo album by American guitarist and former Kiss member Ace Frehley, released on September 18, 1978, by Casablanca Records. [1] It was one of four albums released by each separate Kiss member as a solo act, but yet still under the Kiss label, coming out alongside Peter Criss, Paul Stanley, and Gene Simmons .
Frehley would return the favor by playing solos on Peter Criss' Cat #1 album on TNT Records, released in 1994. In contrast to the somewhat adversarial relationship Frehley had with Kiss (particularly Gene Simmons) throughout the 1980s, he and Criss had maintained good ties during the decade.

Oct 9, 2013 · This is a tough, funky rocker, musically ambitious. Anton Fig’s avalanches of drum fills are always soothing, but Richie Scarlet’s raspy vocals are the real hook. Not that the chorus is bad either! After these two valuable now-classics, Regan throws on three Frehley also-rans that didn’t make it onto the prior 12 Picks compilation.
Tod Howarth was replaced by a returning Richie Scarlet, and Jamie Oldaker by ex-Riot drummer Sandy Slavin (although Anton Fig and ex-Kiss Drummer Peter Criss did perform some of the percussion work on the album). The album featured numerous guest vocalists including Criss and Sebastian Bach.
