    Biography. Manickam Jayakannan (JK) is a professor at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune (IISER-Pune). He received his Bachelor and Master in chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University (India), and his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore ( Professor S. Ramakrishnan’s group).
