Zoran Boukherma est né le 5 juin 1992 à Marmande dans le Lot-et-Garonne. Issu d'un milieu populaire, il passe son enfance et son adolescence à Port-Sainte-Marie. Après un bac littéraire au lycée George Sand de Nérac, il s'installe à Paris avec son frère jumeau Ludovic Boukherma 1 .

We grew up listening to the Stephen King stories our mother would read to us, and watching Carrie, The Shining, Misery and the Tales from the Crypt series. When we started making films, we put these references aside, to a certain extent.

Ludovic & Zoran Boukherma are French twin brothers who co-write and co-direct. Perrault, La Fontaine, mon cul!, a short they directed, won the Student Jury Prize at the Clermont- Ferrand International Short Film Festival. The duo went on to create their first feature film, Willy the 1st, when they were a mere 23 years old.
