Éric Tessier (born March 19, 1966) is a Canadian film and television director and screenwriter from Quebec. He received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards in 2022, for the film You Will Remember Me (Tu te souviendras de moi).

Eric Tessier shot his first Super-8 film at the age of 13. After living a year in Jamaica learning English and playing music with local bands, he studied cinema at Cegep Ahuntsic and Concordia University in Montreal where he began his career directing commercials and documentaries for television.
Born in 1966, Eric Tessier was attracted very early towards filmmaking. At the age of 13, he shot and directed his first short film in Super-8, which required three years of perseverance.
