Feb 24, 2024 · The Dharani Committee submitted a report to the Chief Minister in the meeting. The report mentioned flaws in the ROR Act. (The Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act) which came into force in 2020. The committee explained to the Chief Minister the comprehensive land survey was conducted in haste in just three months and it has created a lot of problems. The same survey records have been taken as a parameter and hence the land record disputes increased in the state.

The trial run is going on with the officials now doing dummy registrations to sort out all the technical issues before the launch. By the time of launch, Dharani portal will have all details of each and every non-agricultural property in all the municipalities and municipal corporations. The government has deployed 24,400 officials to feed the details by visiting door-to-door through an app.
