Bickram Ghosh is an Indian classical tabla player. Early life. Ghosh started learning tabla from his father, Pandit Shankar Ghosh. [1] Career. Ghosh has performed with Ali Akbar Khan and Pandit Ravi Shankar. [2] Ghosh's band, Rhythmscape, which performs neo-fusion music, was founded in 2001.
Played on four Grammy nominated albums including George Harrison’s Brainwashed. Directed Music for Girish Malik's Jal which earned him an Oscar Contention for best Original Score. Played the Finale performance of commonwealth games in 2010 at New Delhi, as part of a 17 member team of topmost Indian musicians.
