    Thomas Robins is a New Zealand actor who played Déagol in Peter Jackson's The Return of the King film (2003), and later young Thráin in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012).

    A noted New Zealand actor, Robins was the original host of the Saturday morning Breakfast show, Squirt. Thomas also made an uncredited cameo in Peter Jackson's King Kong as a New York theatergoer, and as Colin McKenzie (also uncredited) in Forgotten Silver. He is also known as Alistair Morton in the New Zealand seriesSeven Periods with Mr Gormsby.

    In 2010, Robins won an International Emmy Award (Digital Emmy) for his work on Reservoir Hill in 2009 which he shared with its producer David Stubbs.
