Zev Siegl (born December 28, 1942) is an American keynote speaker and presenter. He co-founded Starbucks, with Gordon Bowker and Jerry Baldwin, in 1971, and was a director of the company during its first decade.

Zev Siegl was a history teacher and a coffee lover who, along with his friends, opened the first Starbucks store in 1971. He and his co-founders wanted to bring dark-roasted coffee to Seattle and named the company after a classic novel.
Starbucks was founded in 1971 by Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker at Seattle's Pike Place Market. During the early 1980s, they sold the company to Howard Schultz who—after a business trip to Milan, Italy —decided to convert the coffee bean store into a coffee shop serving espresso -based drinks.
