Roy Skeggs (April 1934 – 29 December 2018) was a British film and television producer. He worked for Hammer Films and is credited, along with Brian Lawrence, for revitalising the company following receivership in 1979.

Dec 31, 2018 · VERY SAD TO HEAR ROY SKEGGS, one of the very few left of the Hammer films 'home guard' sadly passed away on the weekend. Roy was a producer for Hammer Films and began his connection with the company way back at Bray studios in 1963 as production accountant.

When Hammer went into liquidation, Roy Skeggs (who had produced more than 40 films at the studio) was asked back by the receiver to run the company.
