Lost in the Pond (born: November 18, 1981 (1981-11-18) [age 42]) is a YouTube channel devised and hosted by British-American comedian Laurence Brown. The continuing mission of the channel is to "uncover all of the memos that Britain and America lost in the Pond", including memos pertaining to food, language, geography, history, and day-to-day living. After launching in 2015 to an audience of what Brown describes as "basically just my mum", the channel has amassed hundreds of thousands of subscribers, with Brown earning the Silver Play button in 2020.

Brown's work on Lost in the Pond has been recognized across other media outlets. Between 2013 and 2016, he detailed his observations of British and American life for BBC America's Mind the Gap blog. In 2021, he appeared as a guest on Travel with Rick Steves to talk about both Lost in the Pond and his experiences living in the United States as a British citizen.

Laurence Brown was born in Grimsby, United Kingdom, on November 18, 1981. He is married to the American YouTuber Tarah Cantrell, known for her work on the YouTube channel Old Fashioned AF.
