Robben Lee Ford (born December 16, 1951) is an American blues, jazz, and rock guitarist. He was a member of the L.A. Express and Yellowjackets and has collaborated with Miles Davis , Joni Mitchell , George Harrison , Larry Carlton , Rick Springfield , Little Feat , and Kiss .

Express settled on guitarist Peter Maunu as Robben Ford’s replacement. Now work could begin on L.A. Express’ sophomore album, Shadow Play. Shadow Play.
The second recording, Tom Cat, had Scott, Bennett, Guerin, guitarist Robben Ford, and keyboardists Larry Ford and Larry Marsh. But by 1976, Scott was pursuing a solo career, and the band retained the name and carried on without him, releasing two more LP's -- L.A. Express and Shadow Play -- for the Caribou subsidiary of the Epic/Columbia family of labels.
