After obtaining a PhD in Anthropology and Human Geography, Netherlands-born Janine Teerling’s love for filmmaking led her to venture out of academia. Since 2011, she has worked as a producer at AMP Filmworks in Cyprus. “Patchwork” is her first feature film as a screenwriter and co-director.
Patchwork is a 2021 drama film directed by Petros Charalambous and co-directed by Janine Teerling, who also wrote the film's screenplay. The film stars Angeliki Papoulia as Chara, a woman struggling with the pressures imposed by motherhood.
