Bio. Dean works in film, TV and stage. His credits include HAVEN, SAW 3D, 5 seasons on Showtime’s Queer As Folk, the host of the CBC 6 part mini-series TRIPLE SENSATION II as well as 2 years on Broadway starring in Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize + Tony Award winning musical RENT.
In the summer of 1994, Dean starred in his first professional production outside of Queen’s at Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton as Action in West Side Story. This production, in conjunction with his gaining acclaim as a writer and director, lead him to direct the same musical at The Grand Theatre in Kingston in 1996.
