Robert De Lacey (1892–1976) was an American film director of the silent era. Working at the FBO studios, he specialized in making westerns.
Hugh de Lacy had married Rose [Rohese] de Monmouth, the daughter of Badion (Baderon) de Monmouth and Rohese de Clare, in about 1170 [1163?]. Their eldest surviving son and heir was Walter [II] de Lacy, and their other children were Hugh [died 1242], Gilbert and Robert.

Robert Lacey (born 3 January 1944) is a British historian and biographer. He is the author of a number of best-selling biographies, including those of Henry Ford, [1] Eileen Ford, Queen Elizabeth II and other royals, as well as several other works of popular history.
Robert de Lacy (1) succeeded his father Ilbert de Lacy probably between 1090 and 1100. As well as inheriting the honour of Pontefract and his share of his father’s lands in Normandy, Robert de Lacy also received the honour of Clitheroe.
