Barry Barnholtz established Barnholtz Entertainment Inc. (BEI) in 1996, which led to a 20-year output deal with Lionsgate releasing approximately 240 films. He began producing films such as "First 9 ½ Weeks" and "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Lost World" and acquiring a vast collection of films, typically with major stars, for distribution.
