In the Land of the Giants is an album by saxophonist Eric Kloss which was recorded in 1968 and released on the Prestige label.
This single CD contains all of the music from two of Kloss' finest albums: Sky Shadows and In the Land of the Giants. The former set has Kloss (doubling on tenor) in a quintet, with guitarist Pat Martino, pianist Jaki Byard, bassist Bob Cranshaw, and drummer Jack DeJohnette, performing four of his originals plus Martino's "Sky Shadows."

In The Land Of Giants is a crackling bit of modernist free play, with a very soulful edge – and the group includes Booker Ervin, Jaki Byard, Richard Davis, and Alan Dawson all joining Kloss as he hits his mid-period "exploratory" stage.
